MN/22137, rev 1 Load Switching
This entire process is automatic, following the policies established for the
network. The network is dynamically modified, changing configuration to auto-
matically respond to changes to the network’s load.
The Home Threshold is the bit rate set to trigger a return to the home condition.
This function is used when bandwidth has been allocated to meet load require-
ments, and then the load has been either removed or partially removed. The
Home Threshold is used to determine whether the current bit rate has fallen
below this preset level and, if so, the channel is switched back to its home
condition (STDMA mode, for example).
