Figure 4-29 shows a block diagram and cabling example of a CDM-710 1:1 modem configuration

with Gigabit Ethernet (also referred to as GigE or GbE) interface in Slot 2 and Slot 1 empty.

Customer-supplied Ethernet cables are connected directly to the GigE interface, so no kit is required.
