The relationship between Ku-Band and L-Band frequencies is:
Transponder RX Center – Downlink Factor = L-Band
[11.720 GHz – 10.750 GHz = 970 MHz]
In order to convert an IF frequency to L-Band, the conversion factor is:
Conversion Factor = Transponder RX Center – Downlink Factor – IF
Conversion Factor = 11720 MHz – 10750 MHz – 70 MHz
Conversion Factor = 900 MHz
